Salvus Law is based in the city of Manchester in England. We are proud to provide our services to our local market, which includes marine insurers, insurance brokers and commercial operators in the nearby transport hubs and at the port of Liverpool. However, our practice extends far and wide, with a significant amount of work coming from overseas clients, in both Europe and around the world.

Our focus is on shipping, transport and international trade, together with the related insurance issues that arise from those areas. We are familiar with the domestic and international laws and conventions applicable to our work areas, and we ensure that we keep up-to-date with developments in international law. We are also involved in more general commercial matters, which often involve disputes with highly technical evidence and complex law or multi-jurisdictional issues.

Our clients include shipping lines, warehouse keepers, freight forwarders, NVOCCs, logistics operators and businesses in the ship supply sector (including bunker suppliers, shipchandlers, engine and spare part suppliers, technical consultants, port agents).
